Do You feel indebted to your parents?
My parents are the reason I have a partial college degree and live in a condo. They paid for it to give me independence and a better start in life.

I had wonderful parents who taught me the important things in life. They helped me with college expenses and supported my decision to move my young family 800 miles away, never making me feel like I was abandoning them.

All my parents left me was debt. They died and left me with an 8-year-old to raise at 23. Good times!

Absolutely not. I also don't want my loved ones to feel like they owe me anything. Life is too short to be caught up in unnecessary obligations. They should use what I’ve given them to do what’s best for themselves and others.

Indebted? No. But the more I experience modern life, the more I appreciate the generation my parents were from and the way they raised us. I’m grateful for the environment we grew up in.
