I need a friend
I miss my mom. I am so scared. Have no one can talk to about this.
Is this normal? I have a friend whom I talked to every day for the past few years, but suddenly he wants to talk only on a schedule—like only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Is this considered a normal friendship?
My friend Tai Lin,
one of my best friends, is teaching me a little Japanese because I’m going on my trip there in 2 days. I’m so, so excited! I learned that “genki desu ka” means “How are you?” and “ohayou” means “Good morning.” I told Tai it sounds like the name of a state! It’s funny how some words sound the same in different languages. I’ve known Tai since we danced together at my old club. She’s so pretty, and I miss working with her! But we talk on the phone a lot and stay in touch that way, and we meet at Starbucks every once in a while.
