Is this true based on your experience?
Over 10 years ago, people often made home visits to friends and relatives. But now it seems like that has stopped, with both parents and kids spending more time at home on their phones and the internet.
My dad feels this way, but I’m not sure. I used to go out with friends and visit relatives or family friends almost every Sunday, but I’ve noticed this has become less common. I wouldn’t necessarily blame it on the availability of WiFi, though.

The only love I felt after my spiritual awakening
I think the first place I went on my own to live freely was a place called Slab City. It wasn't exactly ideal, but they had these "talent shows" every Friday where anyone could play guitar or perform, mostly music. I was pretty depressed at this time, drinking homemade hooch and hanging out with some strange folks. Then this really bright hippy girl came over and talked to someone else, not me, but she changed my whole mood. I just chilled that whole night, though I became more depressed later on. Fast forward a few years, I was wandering, homeless, and far out. I ended up running into her again. We spent a few hours together, and the look in her eyes was full of awe for me. Her name was Luna, and she wasn't from the U.S. Most people I see aren't happy and are curious about me everywhere I go. But she was absolutely beautiful.
