Does anyone else feel uneasy about multiculturalism?
I’ve always felt this way. The area I live in is becoming very multicultural, and as a white British person, I’d prefer it to stay predominantly white English. However, I know I can’t control these changes or the way society is evolving. I have a deep fear of other cultures and races.

I have a White mother of English descent and a father who is an Australian Aborigine with a bit of a hippie vibe. My aunt is Greek, my nephew is from Niger, and my sister-in-law is Filipino. I also have a goddaughter from Botswana and a Polish friend who swears at me in six different languages.

How about learning more about other cultures? The kind of fear you're talking about often comes from a lack of knowledge and behaviors taught by older relatives.
